Since I retired from a long career at a major multi-national corporation, I have kept very busy volunteering in the community, working and being the best husband and father I can be to my wonderful wife Sue and our two grown kids, Nicole and Daniel.
 

I look back on the performance of this current term of Council, and although the incumbent councillors ran campaigns based largely on bringing civility and decorum to council, the exact opposite seems to be the case. This is not the case for all councillors but clearly some seem focused on primarily tackling other persons and wasting opportunities rather than primarily tackling issues and embracing opportunities. My focus will be on bringing my collaborative management style and rapport to Council that treats the resident and business taxpayers as the Towns' most important customer and as Councils' boss.

I have a university degree in environmental science (BES from the University of Waterloo) and extensive experience in sales and marketing management, land development and environmental remediation. I am passionate about community service, the environment, dignity for our seniors and employment for our youth, value for your tax dollars and the health of the local economy.
